Trim Levels of the 2019 Dodge Journey

With the 2019 Dodge Journey, simpler is better. This year’s Dodge Journey has been slimmed down to three trim levels allowing for more choice for consumers. The Journey has more space than ever before with the addition of a flat load-space on the floor and a front-passenger seat that has a storage compartment in its base. There is also the addition of an exceptionally cool Destroyer Grey color scheme which adds a new layer to this slick looking vehicle. The Journey has a lot of different features to get through, so let’s get started!

The base-level SE, like all of the Journeys trims, comes with the option of front- or all-wheel drive. Opting for front-wheel-drive gets you a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. When you opt for the all-wheel-drive, you get a 3.6-liter V6 with 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque paired with a six-speed automatic. As for features, the SE includes 17-inch wheels, automatic headlights, roof rails, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, and tech features such as keyless ignition and entry, a rearview camera, and a 4.3-inch touchscreen interface with a six-speaker sound system and auxiliary audio input. Also, the SE can be upgraded with several different packages, including a Connectivity package with Bluetooth, satellite radio, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. A Comfort and Convenience package with upgraded cloth upholstery and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. And a Blacktop package that comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and blacked-out exterior trim. A remote start is also an available option for the SE.

Moving up to the Crossroad gets you both the Connectivity and Comfort and Convenience packages as well as 19-inch wheels, a touring-tuned suspension, leather upholstery, three-zone climate control, and an upgraded 8.4-touchscreen infotainment system. There are a ton of available options for the Crossroad including a remote start, heated front seats, a premium six-speaker stereo system with subwoofer, a sunroof, and a Driver Convenience package that includes rear parking sensors and a universal garage door opener.

The top-level trim for the Journey is the GT, and it provides you with most of the Crossroads options as well as adding 19-inch wheels and an upgraded suspension. The GT also gives you options such as a 2nd-row integrated child booster seats, garage door opener, and a 2nd-row entertainment system with 9-inch screens and a set of wireless headphones. The GT also comes with a specialized trailer-preparation package. Also, the 3.6-liter V6 engine with four-wheel drive is standard for the GT.

If you’re looking for comfort and convenience without having to pay out the nose than the 2019 Dodge Journey is the vehicle for you. The three trim levels allow for a ton of options, and the two engines will help you get from point A to point B without having to spend a lot on gas. Are you interested in the Dodge Journey?
