Trim Levels of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Beaufort SC
Fans of the Jeep Wrangler and pickup trucks alike will rejoice behind Jeep’s latest addition to their vehicle lineup, the all-new 2020 Gladiator. The Gladiator which is based off of the body style of the Wrangler Unlimited features four removable doors, a removable roof, a fold-down windshield, and a five-foot steel cargo bed. The Gladiator is powered by a highly capable 3.6-liter V6 engine that boasts 260 lb-ft of torque and 285 horsepower. The Gladiator boasts a best-in-class available 1,700 lb payload and a best-in-class available 7,650 lb of towing. Starting in 2020 the Gladiator will also be available with a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine. The 2020 Jeep Gladiator model lineup consists of the Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon models.
The Gladiator Sport rides along on all-season tires wrapped around 17-inch steel wheels. Bluetooth, cruise control, a rearview camera, a 5-inch central display, an eight-speaker sound system, crank windows, and manual door locks and mirrors also come standard with the Sport model. The Gladiator Sport comes fully ready to tow up to 4,500 pounds thanks to the standardly equipped Class II bumper hitch, anti-sway trailer control, and a combination four-and-seven-pin trailer plug. If you’re looking for increased towing capacity you can opt for the Trail Tow package or the Max Tow package. The Sport model comes with a Command-Trac 4×4 system with a crawl ratio of 2.72:1.
Gladiator Sport S
Next up in the model lineup is the Gladiator Sport S which tacks on alloy wheels, power windows, power tailgate locks, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, power door locks, and heated power mirrors. The Sport S unlocks a variety of options and packages including the Technology Group package, the Cargo Group package, Safety Group package, and the Advanced Safety Group package. Smartphone integration, automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen come with the Technology group package. While a 115-volt power outlet and a rail-based cargo management system come with the Cargo Group package.
Sitting near the top of the model lineup is the Overland model which comes outfitted with additional exterior features like side steps, body-color wheel arches, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Once you slide behind the wheel of the Overland you will notice a leather-wrapped steering wheel, LED ambient footwell lighting, and a 7-inch infotainment system situated in the middle of the dash. Automatic headlights and a 110-volt outlet in the center console round around the Overland models feature list.
Last up in the Gladiator model lineup is the relentless rock crawler known as the Rubicon model. The off-road-oriented Rubicon comes fully outfitted with 33-inch all-terrain tires, skid plates, Fox shock absorbers, locking front and rear differentials, rear steel heavy-duty off-road rear bumper, and an electronically disconnectable front stabilizer bar. The Gladiator Rubicon also comes with a Rock-Trac 4×4 system with a ‘4LO” ratio of 4:1 and Tru-Lok locking differentials.
The Gladiator can be further outfitted with a spray-in bed liner, a premium Alpine sound system, a tonneau cover, a detachable wireless speaker, and a three-piece hardtop roof.
